I’m confident we can make a movie that will appeal to audiences both in Canada and around the world.  On July 12, 2012 it was announced that ARNE OLSEN (Canadian-born Hollywood-based screenwriter) is on board to adapt Richard Comely's iconic Canadian crusader CAPTAIN CANUCK for the big screen, for Minds Eye Entertainment (one of Canada's most prolific independent TV & Movie production and distribution companies).  Arne Olsen has had 12 movies produced including  (MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: THE MOVIE, COP AND A HALF, REPEATERS, ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN II, and RED SCORPION);  Arne Olsen said to expect it to be more of a Suspense Thriller (similar to Carl Bessai’s Repeaters) and not like the typical hollywood Superhero movies.

    Richard Comely tells me, that Captain Canuck was the officially the #1 best Selling "special" edition Canada Post Postage STAMP in Canadian Stamp history at the Time in 1995; A proposed "special" COIN was in the Works for Captain Canuck (but abandoned at the time), but still might surface one day; [NOTE; 99% of ALL vintage Captain Canuck ORIGINAL ART is now in Canada's National Archives]; .
